This Privacy Policy explains what information AutoCue ("the Service"), operated by Kitten Projects ("we", "us"), collects and how we use it. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
When you use voice-following, your speech is converted to text by your web browser's own speech recognition (for example, in Chrome this may involve Google's speech service). This is what requires an internet connection. AutoCue itself does not record, store, or send your audio — it only receives the text your browser produces, and uses it in the moment to scroll your script.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted third parties to run the Service. They only process your data to provide their service to us:
We use your browser's storage to keep you logged in and to save your session history on your device. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your account details and saved scripts from our systems.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To do this, contact us using the details below. You can also clear your locally-stored session history yourself using the "Clear history" option in the app.
AutoCue is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when it last changed.
